HE detergent is a specially formulated laundry detergent for high efficiency washing machines. It produces minimal suds, allowing the machine to rinse completely with low water levels. Using regular detergent in an HE machine causes excess foam, longer cycles, poor rinsing, and can potentially damage the machine over time.
