What temp water shrinks clothes?

Clothes can shrink when washed with hot or warm water, but the exact temperature depends on the fabric. Cotton may start shrinking above 120°F, while wool and denim can shrink at temperatures as low as 86°F. It’s always a good idea to wash clothes in cold water whenever possible and always follow the care label to prevent shrinking.
