What water temp for white clothes?

If you’re washing white cotton T-shirts that are lightly soiled, you can use warm water of around 90°F to 110°F to clean properly and avoid shrinking. For satin, silk, and woolen white clothes, stick to cold water below 80°F. You may use hot water (above 130°F) only if care label allows it and you are washing heavily stained durables like a duvet or towels.
